​ Yarn Donation Info 

The Greater Boston Knitting Guild is a mostly virtual organization with only 2 in-person events yearly.  We are not able to accept and store donations of yarn.  If you have yarn to donate, here is a list of orgs in the Great Boston Area that we are aware of that accept donations.

 Make and Mend,  21 Hawkins St, Somerville, MA
Accepts donations of craft supplies.  Refer to their website for details.

The Roslindale Library has a yearly sale of donated yarns, notions, needles,
etc. in the spring.  It is run by the Friends of the Roslindale Branch Library.
They collect donations all year long.  Proceeds go to supporting youth activities
at the Library.  If you complete the Contact Us form, they will get back to you.

Swansons Fabrics, 320 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA is “the no kill shelter for your stash”.

Also, often a local Senior Center will accept supplies.  Check with your local Senior Center.
