Our Guild is celebrating our 30th year as a community knitting group in the Greater Boston Area. Today we are diverse group of 370+ Knitters, Crocheters and Makers from 28 states and 4 Countries!

From beginners to certified masters, all you need is a curiosity to learn. And learn we do: at our monthly meetings and workshops with experts in the field, from each other, and from our business members and local yarn shops.

 GBKG has a reputation as one of the premier Knitting Guilds in New England and we are a  member of the Knitting Guild of America. For 31 years we have brought experts from around the world to educate our members in the art of knitting through monthly meetings and workshops. Along with education, the importance of community is equally strong. Supporting, inspiring, and learning from each other, while making new friends, is our foundation and reaching beyond our doors, with our Community Outreach Programs.
